My daughter has special needs and she loves riding with Franky. Franky is an extremely kind and patient teacher. Her horses reflect her loving personality. She has a special connection with all animals and people too! She has taught my daughter and myself so much about horses. I’ve never seen an instructor spend so much time ensuring that her students have fun while learning proper riding technique and respect for the horses. We are so blessed to have this opportunity to work with her!

Alec is afraid of cats and dogs, but he loves horses – enter equine therapy’s “horse sense” between horses and people. Franky works to make every rider and the horse comfortable with one another. This process pairs the wonderfully unique qualities of horses with people. If there is ever a slightly difficult situation, Franky is able to change a process or an approach and try again right away with care and understanding. Franky smartly paired Alec with Jasmine and the bond they formed is remarkable.
Working with “his” horse, Jasmine, has given Alec confidence and sense of trust and pride. Alec’s connection with Jasmine is difficult to describe. He feels Jasmine’s coats and mane, hears the weird sounds she make through her nose and mouth, and helps feed her. Jasmine is so gentle with Alec. When it’s time to walk Jasmine, Alec will take the lead. You can see the confidence in him, as he is leading this big, beautiful, tender horse.
I believe this is all due to Franky and the high standards she sets.

We met Franky Greaves about four years ago. Throughout the past four years, Eli has improved his speech, his core has grown stronger, and his awareness of animals has increased. Franky and Jasmine have shown such patience and dedication to Eli and our family. At first, we were very hesitate of Eli cleaning Jasmine's feet, walking around her, and feeding her. However, by the end of the very first session, Jasmine’s demeanor proved that Eli would be safe around her. This is because of Franky’s doings and teachings. She has such an understanding of horses, as well as, children. She knows how to keep Eli focused and safe around all the horses. Furthermore, Franky is very flexible with Eli's needs. Sometimes, Eli wants to ride specific patterns, or sometimes he just wants to clean and brush Jasmine. Franky will accommodate Eli's needs and go with the flow all while providing a safe, nurturing, learning environment.
Having a child with a disability, made us be even more protective of both our kids, especially Eli. We are usually right by his side just in case someone can’t understand him or in case he decides to move on to something else quickly. However, Franky encouraged us to build Eli’s independence by letting him be in charge of himself while around her and Jasmine. We feel very comfortable sitting back and watching him build his self-confidence and independence through these life skills he is learning with Franky and Jasmine.
We recommend therapeutic riding lessons with Franky! She has kids of her own and understands how all kids can be and are different. Furthermore, Franky has the knowledge, patience, and demeanor to provide outstanding horse therapy! We trust her fully and recommend her and her services to others!
